Comic book authors are becoming comic books publishers
I just happen to be a screenwriter. So it doesn't always make sense to me that "grown up" reading should necessarily be absent of pictures. I know the profound effect visual storytelling can have. I've heard it suggested that the publishing genre in which self publishing comprises the largest part of the market is comic books and graphic novels. I suspect it's true.
