My artwork of certain mediums takes on personal views from everyday thoughts and ideas as well as dreams that have significant meaning as well as things I see around me, inspirations from other art, and just overall life's experiences that are part of our childhood and adult culture.
Having engaged in subjects as diverse of what I have seen during my traveling days, music of many kinds and architecture, my work reproduces familiar visual signs, arranging them into new conceptually layered pieces and I also like to express in surreal situations.
Many mediums are always considered but mostly pencil crayon and pen and ink as well as water colours are mainly use in my art. In working in these these mediums I have arrived to what I feel shows the most from my thoughts when doing art. I am always considering using other mediums such as, acrylics and oils, doing large canvases. at the moment space restricts the exploration but working out this problem very soon. In the meanwhile I enjoy the drawings I'm currently engaged in.
While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project my methodology is consistent. Although there may not always be material similarities between the different projects they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter. The subject matter of each body of work determines the subject matter and how it going to be expressed.
Each project often consists of multiple ideas, often in a range of different ways, grouped around in creating specific themes and meanings. During research and production new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of work. Hoping to explore inner self , my thoughts, dream, I hope, through art I will eventually come to the fullest understanding of who I am and from that I will express that in my art.
Art is a very important or the most important part of my life for many reasons both personal and artistic.
