Meet Pooky - My First In a Series of Pooky Children Books

POOKY from DETROIT!! Some people say she reminds them of the next Dora the Explorer!!

Her name is POOKY, but a boy calls her Pooky Booky! She is a little 2nd grader that just moved to the suburbs from the slums of Detroit, and she shares her culture with her new friends. She was being teased for being different but she tells her classmates that God made them all different.

I am an illustrator, but an upcoming new author that do my own children book illustrations as well as for other authors. That is one of the reasons for me turning to self publishing. I am a christian who serves the Lord Jesus Christ, and I was given this talent and will use it to touch the hearts of children.

Some People say my style reminds them of the Saturday morning funnys "Curtis" comic! I LOVE THAT!

POOKY will be a character used for Gods glory. The next 3 books that I have started writing are "Pooky, IN October", "Pooky, Why I am thankful", and "Pooky, Franky the Snowman"! There will be many more in the series! Look for "Pooky, IN October" as the next released!
