Oils, Acrylic and Graphite

Making the Vision Clear

Mood and emotions are a driving force behind my graphic skills. I create from the heart - be it yours or mine - my images will illustrate the spiritual passion they're founded on. My favorite subject matter and genres include fiction, horror, fantasy, spirituality, children, young adult and the supernatural. You can view my registries at ArtWanted. I am continuously adding to my portfolio.

I work in oils, acrylic and graphite; my primary illustration software is Adobe Photoshop from which I create freehand art. You only need give me a detailed description, setting and mood of the theme, and with drafts, I'll work it into a soul stirring visual, to those specifications. I majored in Illustration, and Life Drawing/Anatomy at the High School of Art & Design. Although open to learning new things "in the box", I've always found hands-on, unconventional methods of application to work well for me. My other major was Creative Writing which, since then, has encouraged me to write short stories and make my own book covers for them. It's a very satisfying skill.

Within the last 16 years, I have gotten a few merits for my art work. Two of my digital pieces were published in the ArtWanted.com calendar for the years 2006 and 2007. I continue to get exposure through the internet, willing to offer my graphic services to greeting card companies and other print industries as well as creating book covers; to me, there is no limit for where my art can be used.

My fees are flat rates and can be negotiable pending project conditions. I can easily be contacted by email when you go to my site. I don't lend my skills to anything that incites lewd, obscene, pornographic and prejudiced behavior. I believe in order for cover art to work and sell, the artist has to connect with the author, the book's content, and its characters.
