Publishing Universal Office Diary

by Joe Hebden
(York, England)

Universal Office Diary

Universal Office Diary

Mine is a simple publishing tale - I made use of the services offered by Canadian-based company Spire Publishing (formerly Publish and be Damned). Perhaps not the cheapest method (though still good value); they offer an excellent, friendly service for the self-publisher. Books are very soon widely available on Amazon etc. etc.

The hard part is trying to market your book - they do provide a free guide on how to do this.

Best wishes, Joe Hebden

Long and short
by: Joe Hebden

Because I come from a background of poetry I always tend to write relatively few words in comments etc.

I can assure all potential readers that Muffin Heaven and Universal Office Diary are full-length books that are well worth reading.

Universal Office Diary is an original and funny record of office life.

Muffin Heaven is a peculiar tale about establishing a 'cafe' in the middle of nowhere, that is also a celebration of nature and a sense of community.

A simple publishing tale?
by: Steve B.

Joe, I've been hanging around with you self publishers long enough to know there's no such thing as a simple publishing tale. Each one is different and extraordinary in its own way.

I'm flummoxed that a guy with a blog would write so little. You could probably tell me more about the particular way in which you brushed your teeth this morning than you told about giving birth to a book in this post.

Joe, I'm going to give you another chance. Is there anything you'd like to add? Or are Universal Office Diary and Muffin Heaven each about two paragraphs long?
